Jay H. Kaplan, CPA
Jay holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Georgia.
Jay has been in public accounting since 1976 and specializes in business, personal and estate planning. By utilizing tax and financial accounting strategies he is able to help his clients achieve their goals. Jay established this firm in 1983. Jay is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the South Carolina Association of CPAs and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jay has been an integral part of the AICPA’s National ElderCare Taskforce charged with developing educational materials and standards for CPAs who serve older adults. He coauthored CPA ElderCare: A Practitioner’s Resource Guide, published by the AICPA with his wife, Pam. Jay is also a member of the Spartanburg Estate Planning Council.
