Lutz and Carr has earned its distinguished reputation through our unique ability to create valuable and lasting working relationships with our clients. We provide professional services delivered with a personal approach and rooted in a genuine appreciation for our clients’ needs.
Since 1950, we have been dedicated to providing quality auditing, tax, and consulting services to a wide range of clients. We have particular expertise with not-for-profit organizations, private foundations, arts and cultural institutions, the film and TV industry, real estate concerns, closely held businesses, individuals and families, and estates and trusts.
We are an unassuming, practical group. We take great pride in our abilities and accomplishments, but also recognize the skills and experience that other professionals may provide. Accordingly, we are not a one-stop financial advisory firm. Rather, we choose to concentrate on those areas where our expertise is demonstrated and interact with other professionals who may be involved in other aspects of your financial affairs. This approach has been validated by our continuous growth, which is the result of referrals from our clients and the other professionals they employ, and the long-term relationships we have with our clients.
The partners at Lutz and Carr are committed to our firm and our clients. As the core of the Lutz and Carr team, each partner has a broad base of knowledge that enables us to provide the best possible service to our clients.
While each partner has his or her own areas of specialization, all of our partners share common knowledge in the firm’s clients and practice areas. Our partners are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and frequently participate in seminars and write for publications on current accounting and tax issues.
Our partners remain associated with clients over a long period of time and share the commitment to provide continuity, cost efficiency, and most importantly, a deep understanding of each client.
